Gwinnett County Campus
Around Campus
Six sites in close proximity make up the Gwinnett County campus. The main building contains Corporate offices, client classrooms, and the Production Facility. Within walking distance, we have a Greenhouse, a Fitness building, an Education building, a Cooking building and an Art building. Located a block away is our DayHab building.
History of the Gwinnett Campus
Personal Choices Provide for Personal Achievements
Beginning in 1976 our Gwinnett County campus was the first location of Creative Enterprises. Over the years, the campus has expanded to include a therapeutic Greenhouse in 1996, a Day Habilitation building in 2003, and educational and vocational facilities such as an Art Program, a Cooking Skills Training Center, and an Education Building. Most recently, in 2021, we added a Community Garden to foster collaboration and learning in our community. Each addition has enhanced our mission to support and empower individuals with disabilities through diverse and impactful programs.

Animal Therapy
Interacting with animals prompts the body to release hormones that generate a relaxation and stress-reducing response, helping support good mental health and lowering anxiety. Animals can play very important roles assisting people with disabilities as part of therapeutic activities.
We encourage volunteers to bring therapy and service animals to visit our classrooms. Also, while participating in the Classrooms without Walls Program, we frequently visit farms and animal shows that broadens our understanding of the animal kingdom around us.
Licensed Cat Shelter
Open to the public, our licensed cat shelter offers cats and kittens for adoption under GA License # A341. Providing this service allows individuals with disabilities the therapeutic benefits associated with caring for adoptable animals while also encouraging responsibility and humane treatment of others in need.
