Happy Cow Appreciation Day! Today is the one day of the year when it’s okay to dress udderly crazy in exchange for free food, and as natives of Georgia, we had to celebrate. We had a blast getting creative with arts and crafts and watching cow related videos on YouTube while spending some time creating cow masks to wear. Once we finished making the masks, we went out to Chick-Fil-A to grab lunch.
We visited the Chick-Fil-A on Pike Street in Lawrenceville, and the place was packed! The drive-thru wrapped around the building and the inside was just as busy and even louder. Knowing that we had clients with disabilities, we had to be careful, because a few of them may be sensitive to crowds and loud noises, so we decided to sit out on the patio. While making our way outside, we ran into Shaye, an employee at Chick-Fil-A. She was really nice and took it upon herself to help our group out. She helped us get seated, took our orders, and even brought the food out to our tables, all with a smile on her face. She understood the sensitive nature of people with disabilities and did a great job communicating with them. Her customer service was through the roof, so we would like to recognize Shaye from Chick-Fil-A for her #CreativeActsofKindness
